From the moment we landed in Nassau, everything felt seamless. Sandals staff welcomed us with cold towels, champagne, and friendly smiles that made it easy to relax instantly. It’s no surprise this is one of the best Sandals Resorts for honeymoons, anniversaries, and destination weddings.
Our suite, a One Bedroom Butler Suite with a Private Pool, was both peaceful and loads of fun. We had our own private outdoor space and pool, butler service, and daily delivery of fresh pastries, coffee, and snacks before dinner. You can also get lunch delivered to the beach with butler service, but we preferred to enjoy the amazing restaurant options most days. Whether you are planning a Bahamas honeymoon, romantic escape, or a celebration this room category is a standout.
One of the standout perks of booking a Butler Elite suite at Sandals Royal Bahamian is the elevated VIP transportation. Guests with this room category ride in serious style, with luxurious airport transfers, depending on availability. On our return trip, we were chauffeured to the airport in a stunning Rolls-Royce, which was such a fun and memorable way to end the vacation. Butler guests can also enjoy a complimentary island tour in a stylish Mini Cooper, giving you the chance to explore Nassau like a true VIP. It’s just one more reason why the Butler experience is worth the upgrade.
Our second room, which was a club level swim-out, was nothing short of spectacular. We got lucky to have a room that was ocean view, and we could wake up and swim out to a stunning view of the ocean. We even witnessed a destination wedding setup while we were there—stunning doesn’t begin to describe it.
Dining at Sandals Royal Bahamian was a highlight. From sushi and seafood at Soy to gourmet French cuisine in a private room at La Plume and a casual pizza lunch by the beach, every bite impressed us. And yes, the drinks are unlimited and delicious. Pro tip: head to the swim-up bar and eat pepperoni pizza without getting out of the pool. We got the opportunity to do this thanks to our amazing Butlers, Dani and Chad!
What truly sets this resort apart is its private offshore island. Just a short boat ride away, it offers hammocks, snorkeling, beachside dining, and a tranquil escape from the main property. We also ventured off-property to experience a night at Atlantis Bahamas—from the casino to the marine exhibits, it added a fun, energetic contrast to our laid-back resort stay
